I couldn't keep up with the speed of my Math classes in Secondary two and all my problems snowballed.

I joined Good School Kovan at the end of Secondary 2 so I did not have an A.Math grade before that. For Math, the notes were very neatly compiled and the tutor shared many of the useful strategies and formulas with us. Due to his past experiences, he was able to let us know the important/key features of each question type. Mr Zhang Zheying is very engaging and very professional in his work. He was able to make lessons fun by sharing his experiences from his life and also at the same time teaching us many ways to apply the different question types into the real world context. Class size is small and it is quite cozy I was able to clarify with my tutor my doubts during/before and even after tuition itself.

My math grades became more and more consistent over time and I could constantly achieve an A grade. I would recommend Good School because this tuition centre has very helpful and understanding teachers that will guide you along the way to reach the desired grade you want to get.

Prior to joining Good School Kovan, my Secondary math grades were very inconsistent and I couldn’t really have a grasp on the topics at hand.After going here, however, I managed to better understand the maths questions and the steps as to how to answer them with the help of my tutor, Mr Zhang. Because of this, I easily understood the questions in the O level papers and could do well in them.

My tutor is a pretty interesting teacher to learn under. He’s approachable and pretty humorous, especially with his anecdotes about his life and especially that time he had to end the session early because his wife went into labor.

I really like how he manages to explain concepts that I couldn’t understand in class in relatively simple terms - for example, for the longest time I have thought mensuration to be the most painful topic in the world, but under his teaching he basically busted that myth - apparently it’s just formulas and knowing the strategy, nothing more. I’m glad to have been taught by Mr Zhang.

I remember that for some topics, like graphs, I couldn’t fully understand what I was learning and at that moment, just absorbed the information before I realized I didn’t understand much later. I scored a D7 for my SA2.

A lot more time is dedicated to exploring a single topic and understanding it, instead of rushing through like in school. That probably gave me enough time to understand and make use of my info. Mr Zhang manages to make it clear that every question can be solved by following systematic steps - identifying the topic through the keywords, knowing the strategy and executing the plan. For example, a mensuration question can be broken down into knowing what shape is being shown, and applying the correct formula according to whether perimeter, area or volume needs to be found.

I quite enjoy the fact that due to the Covid 19 situation, I do not need to travel to the center - instead, I can have tuition in the comfort of my own home. It’s good that I’m able to clarify my homework questions during the session. Scored A2 for O level E Math, so a 5-grade improvement from secondary. I’d say it’s worth it if one is willing to put in the effort - the lessons are easily absorbable if they’re paying attention and taking down notes for themselves.

What sets my tutor’s English lessons apart from the ordinary Secondary English teachers in school is that in my tutor’s lessons, we do not just get extra practice for us to drill our answering and writing techniques, but we are also taught various methods to attempt each and every segment tested within the English syllabus. For example, in the lessons which are essay-focused, we aren’t only exposed to a wide range of vocabulary for us to use in our own writing, but we are also taught formulas to structure a good introduction, non-repetitive PEEL paragraphs, as well as convincing conclusions (for the expository essays).

Some problems I faced included not knowing how to study effectively for the subject even days before the upcoming test or examination apart from just flipping through old assignments and learning from my previous mistakes. I also didn’t manage to practice more for my essay writing even though it was one of my weaker components as the teachers in my school focused more on the other components. In a nutshell, English was a pretty ambiguous subject to me that I did not know how to study and improve in simply by just reading up more.

I joined Good School Kovan in Sec 1, where my grades stayed stagnant at the B3 to B4 range. For English, the teachers focus a lot on us having the fundamentals and learning all the formulas we will need in order to answer the questions directly and accurately. We also learnt all the various ways like FAT, level 1 to 3 descriptive writing and how to come up with our own similes and metaphors so that we are able to write much more interesting and persuading essays. The teachers also zoom in on every tiny detail by breaking down the question so that we are able to produce essays that thoroughly answer the question while standing out from the rest as well.

Mr Tan Wei Jie provides us very specific advice regarding areas we are weaker at and what we can do to improve in it. There are also many more opportunities provided for us to practice our oral, writing and answering skills beyond classes, which really helped me a lot especially when it was nearing the o level examinations and we could no longer submit any more assignments and essays to our school teachers to mark. This helped ensure that I was always putting my skills to a test and also greatly boosted my confidence for the subject after so much practice. Moreover, his lessons were never dry, and for some of us who don’t frequently catch up with current affairs or the news, he would always spare a portion of the session going through the latest news with us, and even creating opportunities for discussion where we would get to practice our oral skills frequently as well, thus killing 2 birds with one stone.

The class size is kept small and comfortable and this ensures that we are able to get all the help that we need from the tutors as it is easier to approach them if we had any doubts. This also means that each of us gets a chance at being called to answer a question and also practice our oral skills every lesson as well. The tutor ensures that each of us is looked after and no one gets left behind as we were able to whatsapp the tutor after class whenever we needed help, where we would then get a very detailed response as to how to solve our inquiries.

I had a 2-grade improvement (from B4 to A2 in secondary 1) and managed to maintain an A2 for my O level English. I would recommend Good School as their English tutors are one of kind, and ones that need help, especially extra attention, will definitely stand to gain since the tutors are extremely detailed in coaching us. Attending English lessons at the centre also allowed me to study more effectively and easily since there were formulas I could always turn to, which also allowed me to save time during the examinations thinking about how I should phrase an answer, or start my essay.

Before joining Good School Kovan, I could barely answer question in paper 2 and my essays were not good in terms of use of vocabulary and even if I read numerous amount of booksBefore I joined the Secondary English class I failed both my end of year and bridging English papers with a D7.

Although I could not catch up with the steps for the techniques fast, I slowly understood the ways to answer the questions and was able to answer them with the help of my teacher.

The tutor was always very patient and made sure that everyone was on track.

The centre had a very conducive environment and even had a space for students to come in earlier than their lessons to do some homework and catch up on their revision which was really convenient as I spent some time there studying peacefully.

My tutor would answer to my questions on WhatsApp as soon as possible even if the lessons were online.

I had a 4 grade improvement from a D7 to a B3. I would definitely recommend Good school to my friends and juniors as I really felt that the lessons were very beneficial for me especially.

I used to think that English was a subject I couldn’t study for but after I entered my tutor’s class at Good School Kovan, I was pleasantly surprise to find out that he had worked out a detailed plan to help us excel in English. Mr Tan constantly pushes the class to practice and to be consistent and he strongly believes in his methods and have proven them right countless of times. He is incredibly patient and passionate in teaching. He converses with the class in a friendly manner and has always found ways to make the subject more interesting for the class. The small classes allows for a smooth communication and has helped me clear many doubts.

Before joining Good School Kovan, I could not keep up with my classmates back then in secondary math classes. I was consistently failing my math papers and i felt quite frustrated with myself. I started disliking the subject because i keep on getting the same unsatisfactory results. My grade before joining was a C6. The lessons are different because it makes me more motivated to study as my tutor makes it easier for us to strategise our methods and eliminate mistakes so that we are able to spend our time more efficiently during exams and it has definitely made me more confident in myself during exams
What I like about my lessons is that he is not always so intense during classes and also the light hearted conversations made during lessons makes me feel less pressured during class. He’s also always motivating us and it’s nice how he’s confident in us scoring well for our exams. He does not set unrealistic expectations for us which is good It’s a small class so it’s easier to ask more questions.

Mr Zhang is constantly assuring us that it’s ok to ask questions and it makes me feel more comfortable to ask questions rather than being embarrassed to ask questions during class.
I jumped 2 grades for my Amath from consistently scoring a C5 in school exams to a B3 in O levels. I would recommend GSLH because I feel safe to be there and the lessons there definitely benefit me a lot as it makes me feel more motivated to score well in exams.

One issue that I faced was that in class, whenever my teacher taught a new topic, I would always be falling behind while my friends are always understanding very quickly. I would always ask my friends for help, because they understood it way better, and I couldn’t really understand why I was falling behind. So I decided to join a tuition centre to help me. For Math, there were also certain techniques applied during exams, it allowed me to get higher grades, and the things taught here were actually rather simple, and it can be easily applied as long as you play your part in doing your homework. I think doing so can really help you to improve your grades a lot. Before I joined Good School Kovan my Math grade was a C6. Ever since I joined this centre, I’ve been getting A1 all the way.

Having not met the requirements in secondary 2 to take amath in secondary 3, I was offered a special case scenario where I could take amath privately. This put me at a huge disadvantage since I had to find a tutor who is able to teach me the all the content a typical student learnt in class each week and squeeze all that in a 2 hours lesson every week. This caused me to struggle in excelling in amath. This caused me to score E8 in my secondary 3 SA2. However after i joined Good School Kovan at the start of secondary 4 , this changed for me and I started to see my grades slowly improving. This was because my tutor Mr Zhang was very concise in covering each topic and through his START tactic I managed to identify and solve questions easily. He also made learning enjoyable allowing me to be fully engaged throughout each lesson. The lessons at Good School also allowed me to reach my full potential since each class is small, enabling me to easily clarify my doubts. The support I have received throughout my O level period was extremely strong since I had someone to clarify my doubts at any time even if I asked at odd hours. Ultimately, in my O level I had an improvement of 6 grades, attaining an A2 for for my O levels amath. I would recommend this tution centre as their tutors are well-trained and committed to help and push their students to succeed in their studies.

I didn’t know that there were methods for answering comprehension questions and was always unable to get the complete answers to the questions. I was always missing that one part of the answer that would allow me to get the full marks for that question. I also didn’t know that there were techniques that could be used during summary that could help me paraphrase my words and make my sentence structure much more fluent. I scored a B3 for my end of year examinations in Secondary 3.When taking lessons in Good School Kovan, I was able to study English predictably using the logic modelling and formulas taught during the lesson. Even though I joined later in the year, I was still able to catch up with the rest of my classmates with the extra lessons that were conducted during the school holidays. Mr Tan Wei Jie, is able to teach in a way that makes it easy to understand and digest the techniques that are taught to us. The lessons are also fun and engaging as he would link the techniques to the scripts of some movies. One such example is using a clip from the movie “Sherlock Holmes” to teach us how to be more descriptive when writing our essays. The class size is small and all the students are able to receive adequate attention and the whole class is able to move ahead in the lessons together. I was able to get help from Mr Tan even outside lesson timings as I could contact him via Whatsapp if I still had any doubts on what was taught during the lessons or when I needed assistance for my school work.I had a 2-grade improvement and scored an A1 for my O level English. I would recommend Good School to the people around me because the techniques that were taught are effective and helped me to better answer the questions in Paper 2 which was the component that I was the weakest at. There were also lessons for essay writing and oral which helped me to better express myself in both writing and words.

The main issue I faced in secondary English before coming to Good School Kovan was my compo, it was kind of bad, and then my grammar was kind of bad too, so I guess that’s the two things.After every single lesson, Mr Tan will remind me, as I am kind of new, to read the notes he gave. Honestly, I did not read them a lot, but I did read them and he kept reminding me to go back to the basics of grammar and nouns.Before I came to good school, I was a D7, C6 or C5 but before O level’s I studied for English and got B3.

My tutor, Mr Tan Wei Jie, taught me ways to remember simple ways to better improve my English for my compo and email. He also said that there must be a balance and that the sentences should have a connection to one another, that my school don't teach. He makes use of jokes and examples to make the lesson less boring to listen to, using the ways he helped me remember tips for English it helped me pass my subject during N level and helped me get into a course that I wanted to get into.

My tutor was always a dedicated teacher who would ensure that we understood everything that was taught. When we drifted off in class sometimes, Mr Zhang reminded us to keep paying attention. I feel that he has helped me to ensure that I constantly maintain my A1 grade in Add math by his constant help and dedication.I joined during circuit breaker, and there was a lack of attention given by my math teacher in school, thus I was losing track of my learning. From day 1, Maths just felt like greek to me. I couldn’t catch a single thing the teacher was teaching and the fact that I was too shy to ask questions definitely did not help improve my situation. All the doubts and misconceptions I had snowballed and I inevitably developed a profound hatred of mathematics. Which also caused me to completely give up on the subject and not study for any of my mathematics tests.Before joining I generally got Cs, worst case would be a fail and if I was lucky maybe I’d get a B4 :)There was sufficient practice provided for each chapter taught, in terms of both quantity and range of difficulty. For school exams and Os Mr Zhang would highlight certain question types that were commonly tested. He would also emphasise on keywords to look out for so that students do not fall for the traps hidden in the question and lose marks carelesslyThere was a very systematic way of teaching that allowed me to easily understand the rationale behind each step taken to solve every question. Which therefore allowed me to apply my knowledge accurately. Mr Zhang also shared a lot of stories from his personal life n experiences which helped make lessons a lot less dryClass size was not big which makes it much easier for me to voice my doubtsHe was always contactable via WhatsApp. That was why whenever I had any queries, regardless of the time, location and whether it be related to tuition or school, they were always answered and in a manner in which I could understand.I joined at the start of sec 2 and got my first A1 at MYEs. Since then both my E and A math scores became pretty consistent throughout the rest of my secondary school life, never going below an A2 and I scored A1 in O levels for both subjects.I would recommend Good School to others because it definitely helped clear most if not all of my doubts that I had accumulated in sec 1 which helped me to improve drastically within half a year. It made learning Secondary mathematics way more enjoyable for me as compared to how dreadful it was in sec 1. In secondary school, I have never once passed math, and often struggled keeping up with the curriculum as I felt that it was going too fast for my pace. I gradually started to lag behind the rest of my classmates up until Sec 4, when I joined Good School Kovan after a classmate had recommended it to me.Before joining good school, I was scoring consistent F9s for my CA and SA math exams.I feel that as compared to other schools, Good School has a structured and efficient way of teaching its students formulas such that it is easy and simple to understand. The tutors make it a point to make sure that the students understand the concept of the formula/subject and go above and beyond to explain it in simpler terms and to come up with ways to help the students remember formulas. For example, my tutor Mr Zhang provided us fun mnemonics to help us memorize formulas, which are much more efficient and memorable than ones provided in the textbook.The class sizes are kept small, which means every student’s progress is monitored and ensured. The tutor also makes it a point to make every student feel included in the class, and often tries to boost the mood in class.I scored a B3 for my O Level Emaths, jumping 6 grades from an F9, in about 7 months as I joined around March.I would highly recommend Good School to all students who are struggling in their subjects, as the tutors are very focused on helping students to the best of their abilities.

My tutor, Mr Tan, is really patient despite my fluctuations. He uses methods and tips to teach us more about the English language, making it easier to understand the concepts of English. I have never really studied this subject as a whole before but after attending lessons, I was enlightened at the fact that English is a subject that indeed requires effort. Although I didn’t do as well as I wanted to, I was still happy with my performance because I understood and made good use of the methods that he taught as well as the list of good words that we were being provided. After attending tuition at Good School Kovan, it made Secondary English less intimidating.

I didnt know how to improve my essays due to my lack of vocabulary and always had limited sentence structures. For paper 2 I was very poor in visual text and comprehension as I always couldn't find the relevant part of the passage. As for paper 1, I couldn't come up with examples for oral and my pronunciation for reading aloud wasn't good. For English I learnt to study using the logic modelling and formulas taught during the lesson. It was quite helpful as it was easier for me to structure my answers properly. During the lessons, Mr Tan and Ms Sarah would also remind us the various formulas so that we would remember it better. I liked how the lessons are logical and how they would use Olevel papers as learning materials. It helped me to apply the skills learnt in school. The class was very small and conducive. The support given was sufficient as i could whatsapp my tutors for help whenever i had problems with the work given in school or tuition. During lessons, they would also ask if we could understand the formulas and the task given. I think that its something other teachers might not do due to bigger classes. I improved from B4 to B3 in Olevels within a year. I would recommend this centre to others as I found it helpful and the teaching technique used is very unique compared to other tuitions.

Before I joined Good School Kovan, I always had problems with English. Most of the time I am quite lost as to how I should prepare for English tests. During the tuition, Mr Tan and Ms Sarah taught me a lot of different techniques that I can use such as logic models, different answering techniques in Comprehension, this really helped me to have a clearer understanding of what are the requirements needed and the step-by-step process that I can take to change them. Overtime, through a lot of practices, I became more familiar with it & I can use it during my exams. In the end, I jumped from a B3 to an A2. It is not that big of a jump, I still struggled but abit less compared to previously. I could also focus on my other subjects and not worry too much about EL.

For Secondary Math, I have never always been able to do well as i cannot understand the concept of it and i don’t know how to make use of the formulas that were give for each topic, i always got really low score for E.math and never knew how could i improve on it. I am able to identify the questions and solve the problems using the strategies taught. The strategies and tips were easy to understand and apply

Good School lessons are taught from ground up without requiring prior knowledge. All the basics and fundamentals are taught so that I can have an edge in the examsWhen lessons are too stressful Mr Zhang will try to loosen the mood up as it is always very tense when it comes to a important and tedious topic, so i think it helps a lot so we don’t feel very energy-drained.

Having a study area is conducive and class size is small so i can focus better compared to schoolIm able to clarify all my doubts during lessons and also after lessons Mr Zhang is always there to support my questions on whatsapp when I needed help. I would recommend Good School Kovan because i think their methods and strategies taught are very effective once you get to learn about, there were lots of methods learnt only here and the tutors never fail to ask upon your understanding on the specific area taught during lessons.

For Sec 2 Maths, I wasn't able to keep up with what my school teacher was teaching and though my grasp of Sec 1 topics was still okay, I was not able to manage as well for Sec 2 topics. I found myself gradually starting to progress worse in maths by the end of Mid-year exams. Mr Zhang helped clarify my doubts and was also very clear in his explanations. If we found that his explanation was unclear, he would try his best to find an alternative explanation. When we have questions that we need help on that are not part of the given homework, he does not hesitate to help us through Whatsapp which is one thing that I feel makes learning very accessible. He also gave sufficient practices of various levels of difficulty which helped me broaden my understanding of every topic. When revising previous topics, Mr Zhang gives very concise yet clear-cut steps on how to tackle different possible question types which has really helped me identify the various steps i'm required to do in order to solve the question. Furthermore, I like that he is motivating and will never fail to share some stories to help us take our minds of what we're doing for a while especially if we're doing a very heavy topic which can make the lessons feel quite long. My grade in Sec 2 improved from a near C5 to an A1 and as I have joined his Amath classes since the beginning of Sec 3, my grades for Amath have been consistently A1s or A2s. In the end, I scored an A2 for O Levels Amath. I would recommend joining as Mr Zhang's effort put into every class has been very consistent throughout the 2.5years that I was under him. He is an extremely dedicated teacher who really wants to help his students so I'm sure that many would see improvement in their grades and knowledge.

In the beginning of Sec 3, I was not able to grasp the A Math concepts very well as my school teachers were moving from topic to topic very quickly, and I had many concepts that I could not clarify as my school teacher moved really fast and the concepts were also taught in a very abstract manner that I had formed many misconceptions and got very confused. When I got into GSLH Kovan, Mr Zhang had broken down abstract concepts my school teacher was trying to teach me. He also gave the students a few practice questions and showed us how to apply the concepts he taught us to as well as on the questions I did as homework. On numerous occasions , he also addressed my queries on my school math homework on Whatsapp and after class. The study environment is extremely conducive and it is not only great for lessons, but self study as well. I got F9 for most of my Sec 3 life and got an A2 for O levels. I would definitely recommend GSLH because Mr Zhang is a very dedicated teacher and will put in his 110% and give you good results as long as you are willing to put in the effort. The environment is conducive and everyone is very encouraging.

In Sec 3, my math teacher placed a lot of emphasis on teaching A math and neglected teaching E Math so my E Math grades started to drop. At GSLH, Mr Zhang taught me the topics ahead of time so I was able to understand the topics better in school, and ample amount of questions in homework. The questions done in tuition and at home was more than enough practice as good school even gave topical revision worksheets after finishing every topic in Sec 4. During lessons, he ensured that everyone understood what he was teaching and would slow down in parts we thought was more complex or at parts where people didn't understand, which was extremely helpful. He also made classes more fun by telling us stories and jokes as my class was in the morning and everyone was sleepy. This engaged us a lot better and allowed us to absorb information better. The study environment is very conducive and encouraging as he would always answer my questions in class and over Whatsapp. I used to get C5 for my E Math, but thanks to Mr Zhang's help, I was finally able to get an A2. Good School would definitely give you the results that you want as long as you are willing to work hard!

My tutor, Mr Tan Wei Jie, was a very patient and caring teacher. I really liked him teaching me as it allowed me to learn the subject to the fullest as he would always take his time to explain to me certain topics i were unclear of. He tries his best to make the lessons interesting and fun and despite all our mischiefs, he has never once shouted at us. I really appreciate this tutor and I strongly recommend him to other students looking for one. I always didnt know how to prepare for an English paper and was always stuck on the generally weaker side of English as I have a very small range of vocabulary. I could never score above B4 and most of the times, i would be on the boarder line of passing English. The lessons are very interesting and enriching at the same time. I was able to learn and improve my English after a while. Mr Tan was able to explain everything clearly and he was very patient with the students. He made sure we all understood what he was teaching and would never neglect anyone of us. It was a small class and that allowed me to have more time to ask him questions. Mr Tan tries his best to reply as quickly to me whenever i needed help and that was very helpful to my studies. I studied the techniques he taught me and made a 2-3 grade improvement in Secondary English. I would definitely recommend Good School Kovan to my friends and juniors as i find it one of the best tuition centers to learn at as the tutors are friendly, nice and helpful. Most importantly, i understand their lessons.

Before I joined Good School Kovan for Seconadry English, I struggled a lot with writing well for my compositions, especially for my Vocabulary. I struggled to describe my thoughts down on paper a lot and I also struggled with appropriate starts for my compositions as well. Other than that, in my comprehension, I also felt very unconfident in my answers when I was answering my comprehension papers. That was one of my biggest struggles in English before I joined Good School. During my time in Good School, my tutor really helped me to improve my results. Mr Tan was very caring towards us and our wellbeing, he also made sure that we are doing very well. He used different formulas for us, such as the HTT and 3BIT methods to start my compositions, and he would send us articles as well to improve our writing and increase our content knowledge. Other than that, he also helped us with oral, comprehension, editing and composition. I’m very thankful for the help that I received. He also would answer my questions very late at night, even if its after midnight. I would have a lot of questions about grammar and things that are taught in school that I’m unsure about. For Secondary A Maths, I really never liked it as I never did well, I would have a difficult time understanding what the teacher at my school was saying as it is harder to grasp. I got a D7 for CA2 and F9 for prelim. The tutor taught each concept more in-depth, my previous tuition centre had like one to one teaching. Over here at Good School Kovan, they had more one to one teaching. Mr Sunny Tan would always clarify your doubts and prompt you to solve your problems yourself without giving you the answer directly. The centre is air-conditioned and is comfortable for studying. If i needed help with outside work outside class, I would ask Mr Sunny during lessons sometimes through Whatsapp. I got A2 for Amaths in O levels and my improvements only showed during O levels. Thus, I decided that in order to get my A1, I had to start pulling up my socks and prove to the teachers and my friends what I am capable of … After all these 2 months of hard work, I had the oral exam just last week. On that day, I walked into the exam hall confidently, aiming for a 6-mark improvement. In the end, I achieved my target with a 7 for Reading Aloud and 17 for Spoken Interaction, graded by the strictest teacher (we are allowed to choose the teacher that we want to be tested by). I almost gave up on English when I first came to Good School Kovan, as I always felt that English could not be taught. I have been scoring borderline passes and the worst was E8 during my mid-year in secondary 4. After joining the classes, I realized that actually English could be learnt if taught in a proper way. In school, lessons were just going through test papers after test papers, but here there are proper techniques to answering certain questions and they helped me to understand what I was learning. Usually, English lessons are boring but Mr Tan was able to add some humour into boring topics and make it interesting. It is convenient for students who want to study and eat at the same time, as it is very flexible here. I was able to apply the skills that I learnt into my exams. I could see the results of about 6 months' worth of hard work at the end when I got a 5-grade improvement. When I first took Secondary A math, I found it ridiculously hard. It was hard to understand the different math terms being thrown around the classroom. When I first joined the Kovan branch, I was too shy to ask for clarification. As the tuition sessions progressed, Mr Zhang could see that I was struggling to understand and was too shy to ask. Before joining Good School Kovan, I was constantly failing Secondary A math and honestly did not put much thought into this subject as well as my other subjects. Throughout the two years of taking A math in secondary school, I did not fare well. I was either barely passing or attaining a solid D7. The lessons differed greatly, in class, the teacher had to cater to the different learning speeds of various students and thus was not able to concentrate on everyone. Before I embarked on my journey with Good School Kovan, I've always felt that English was a language that cannot be improved on. To me, it was just about how you convey the message across, never about vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure… I scored a C6 for my recent SA1. In school, the lessons were just about practice papers. Even if there were consultations, it's in big groups and often rushed. However, in Good School, things are different. the lessons are often conducted in a fun way. In other tuition centres, I often feel tensed and nervous as to how the teachers would fight their way through and force the correct answers down out throat, but here, it was mainly about understanding how our answers come about and how we should tackle the questions the right way. Mr Tan teaches with various techniques. For example, to make sure the PEEL is well-written, he comes up with methods that can guarantee you good grades but only if you FOLLOW EVERYTHING HE SAYS!
