I was worried about my English because I didn't know if I was studying for it in the right way and I had terrible teachers in school. Mr Tan really analyzed the language very thoroughly and taught it in a very clear and concise manner such that I no longer felt like I was fumbling around in the dark anymore. I felt sure of myself and grew to love the English language more as a result. I improved from C5 to A1. I would recommend Mr Tan's tuition class to my friends and juniors because his methods are effective.

At first, I had troubles with sentence structure, grammar, vocab etc. After joining Good School, my English improved alot. Mr Tan's lessons are easy to understand and it helps me alot. The methods taught to me were something I did not expect. The environment always give me the mood to study and it is very convenient to have a study area. I was failing English till I came here, and getting A2 in ' N ' levels is honestly out of this world. I would definitely recommend Good School to my friends.

My concerns were that EL is a language, hence it is not possible to just keep doing practise papers & be able to excel in EL. Also, in school, the teacher just made sure that so long as she went through the particular lesson for that day, she was done. Therefore, not much attention was given in school. Mr Tan always emphasized the PEEL methid when in class, & at GS, he always makes sure that I fully understand whatever that he is teaching. At GS, there is a study corner & we are able to sit down there and study. Whenever we need help, the teachers are just right there to help us. Also, there is a minimart for us students to buy snacks whenever we are feeling tired & need a little snack to wake us up. GS provides very good support e.g. being able to Whatsapp the teachers whenever we need help, & they will always reply us as soon as possible. I jumped 3 grades in a span of 2 months. I would definitely recommend GS to the others as the tutors here are so supportive & as long as you are willing to work along with the tutors, you will get the results that you want to achieve.

Before I enrolled into Good School, I never knew that there was a way to prepare for English examinations. In Lower Secondary, I revised English through looking at practise papers that were previously done. However, after joining Good School, besides looking through practise papers. I also had notes from Good School to revise from. The notes provide useful information like formulas to use for different type of questions. The small class makes it easier to raise doubts to the tutor. I like the tutor's dedication in helping us prepare for examinations. Before the English O level oral examinations, Mr Tan took time and asked us to come down to the tuition centre to conduct a mock oral exam and gave us feedback to improve. I had a 5 grade improvement from F9 to B4 in 2 years for English. I would recommend Good School to my friends because the environmet as a whole is conductive for learning!

I never knew that English would be taught and I thought you had to be born with the skill to do English. Mr Tan is a very attentive teacher and he makes sure everyone understands and know how to apply what he is teaching. School usually isnt very thorough and they just brush through everything. He is very interactive and lively which always brings up the mood in class and he knows when to get serious so that everyone isnt too relaxed which helps us absorb our knowledge. In lessons there is always work to do to make sure we know what he's teaching and he will always make sure we understand this structure. GSLH is a very conducive environment to study in and also not too serious. Mr Tan is always very quick to respond to any queries no matter during lesson or through Whatsapp. I went from a C6 to B3 in 1 year and my results had never dropped. I would definitely recommed GSLH to others.

Before Englsh tution at Good School Learning Hub, I used to do my English work without thinking much, never thinking that there was a formula to solve questions and always going by my gut. Lessons here are much more engaging and interactive than in school, and there are a lot more skills that are being taught here. Mr Tan explains the concepts of the skills in detail, and it is always very fun to attend his classes. I am able to apply the knowledge I have learnt from him. This cente has created a very conducive environment to study at, and it is very lively and clean. I am also able to gain support from Mr Tan as I can always clarify my doubts with him online and in class. I managed to improve from C5 to B3 in English and Mr Tan has helped me so much. I recommend others to join Good School as the tutors are very helpful and always encourages one to perservere and not give up. The methods taught here are very helpful and grades will improve without doubt.

English was a subject that I did not know how to study and I usually go by luck. The techniques my school teacher taught me were not reliable as whenever I apply them to my examinations results did not show. The lessons at Good School conducted by Me Tan was very helpful as he gave us a specific way/technique to study and improve my english. His methods were also very consistent unlike those taught by my school teachers as they would always change and varied. Before I joined Good School, my results were very inconsistent as they were able to jump from a B4 to a C6 in one term. However, with the help of Good School, my results managed to stay consistent where I scored a B3 for prelims and B4 for O levels. The tutor, Mr Tan was very detailed and clear with his teaching and made sure that each of us was able to grasp the concept/idea at the topic we were dealing with that day. His methods were also very specific and easy to apply in all assignments . He would also come to us one by one to check our level of understanding. The center has a very conducive environment for students to study filled with motivational quotes that allows us to stay motivated and continue to grind.

Before I came to Good School, I didn’t know that I could study for English, and I usually didn’t study for my English, until I failed one of my comprehensions, then I didn’t know how to answer the questions properly. After I joined Good School, I learnt many techniques and methods to answer comprehension questions, and this helped me improve my grades from B4 to A2 in O Levels.

Before attending A math tuition with my mentor, I was achieving inconsistent results for A math due to a lack of understanding for the subject. Despite studying extremely hard, I was not scoring the As I hoped for. However, my tutor unique teaching style allowed me to understand the fundamentals of the subject. Not only did he enlighten me academically but he also taught me important life lessons and values by telling short stories. This let me realize that although academics are important, having good values is also crucial to being successful in life.

I was scoring 18/30 for sec 3 End of Year and Sec 4 prelim 1 Oral exam, as I did not do any sort of practice for my oral back then. Thus, I decided that in order to get my A1, I had to start pulling up my socks and prove to the teachers and my friends what I am capable of … After all these 2 months of hard work, I had the oral exam just last week. On that day, I walked into the exam hall confidently, aiming for a 6-mark improvement. In the end, I achieved my target with a 7 for Reading Aloud and 17 for Spoken Interaction, graded by the strictest teacher (we are allowed to choose the teacher that we want to be tested by). Some of my friends said that I was just lucky, but they will know that I am more than that when you see me on Good School's TV next year, with my picture taken with my mentor and having the caption: "English: From C5 to A1". Listen to Good School's tutors and start practicing now. Yes, NOW. My only regret is not starting in sec 3.

I almost gave up on English when I first came to Good School, as I always felt that English could not be taught. I have been scoring borderline passes and the worst was E8 during my mid-year in secondary 4. After joining the classes, I realized that actually English could be learnt if taught in a proper way. In school, lessons were just going through test papers after test papers, but here there are proper techniques to answering certain questions and they helped me to understand what I was learning. Usually, English lessons are boring but my mentor was able to add some humour into boring topics and make it interesting. It is convenient for students who want to study and eat at the same time, as it is very flexible here. I was able to apply the skills that I learnt into my exams. I could see the results of about 6 months' worth of hard work at the end when I got a 5-grade improvement. I would recommend others this place as the teachers here know the right techniques to teach and are always very approachable if we are in need of help.

My tutor is very understanding and would teach in a pace that is easy for students to learn. I could see improvement when my editing has improved constantly from 4/10 to 8 or 9/10. Thanks!

My mentor is straight to the point and is very good at teaching students in a way we can understand. Before, I would constantly fail my math test. Now, I got a B3 for Maths O level! Thanks !

My tutor helped me to understand the different topics such as indices and trigonometry better as I was particularly weak in those areas. The way he approached the questions were easy to understand. He also helped to clear my doubts and also helped me to enjoy doing math more. After constantly failing and getting F9s throughout the year, I managed to get a C5 in my O levels within a span of 3 months. I also like the fact that I would ask questions that I am not sure of from the papers that I have done and my tutor would be glad to answer my doubts.

My mentor is an inspiring and innovative teacher who never fails to impress upon his students the importance of having a passion for the English Language. I managed a grade jump of 2 grades from B3 to A1 while my friends were also able to achieve rather impressive results in their O levels. This is undoubtedly down to Good School's excellent and methodical teaching methods. Not to mention the care and love he showed upon us. Good School is an effective and quality learning hub. I would say that – with the right doses of hard work – will enable one to fulfill his/her academic goals.

When I first took A maths, I found it ridiculously hard. It was hard to understand the different maths terms being thrown around the classroom. But I managed to get through different math terms being thrown around the classroom and managed to get through using examples. As a result, my A maths results have been really inconsistent; ranging from C6s to F9s. Hence, my parents signed me up for Good School. When I first joined I was too shy to ask for clarification. As the tuition sessions progressed, my teacher could see that I was struggling to understand and was too shy to ask. Hence, he assured me every tuition session and I was soon asking him questions about my school exam papers after class. With questions answered and a much better understanding of the subject, thanks to clear teaching and learning the different methods to solve problems, my grades jumped from E8 to A2 from prelims to O level. I would strongly recommend Good School as the teaching is very clear and they teach us many methods to solve problems. The temperature is cool and provides a conducive learning environment. The classrooms look professional as well.

Before joining Good School, I was constantly failing A maths and honestly did not put much thought into this subject as well as my other subjects. Throughout the two years of taking A math in secondary school, I did not fair well. I was either barely passing or attaining a solid D7. The lessons differed greatly, in class, the teacher had to cater to the different learning speeds of various students and thus was not able to concentrate on everyone. As a result, I always found myself lost in class and eventually lost interest. However, in Good School, I was able to freely express my misconceptions and get an immediate solution to my issue. Succeeding in solving Amath problems, it sparked an interest in me for the subject. Along with the continuous support from Good School, I was inspired to do well and determined to ace Amaths as well as my other subjects. During Prelims in September, I scored a D7 but in O levels, I was able to achieve an A2! A 5 grade improvement. Overall, I would recommend Good School. In small groups, the tutor will be able to cater to your needs. Good School will continue to provide endless support no matter your starting grade.

I hated A math to the core especially with the constant F9s throughout the year. Didn’t understand a simple topic. My tutor in GS was patient and very dedicated to help us understand how to do a certain topic. During O level period, he helped me whenever I needed help through Whatsapp. I eventually scored an A2 for my O Levels.

At the end of Sec 3, I was doing very badly in English. I was failing with an E8 and D7. I got to know my mentor as he was recommended by my math tuition teacher. He taught me many things about English that I was totally unaware of. I used to think that reading many books was the only way to score well in English. When O levels were coming closer, my mentor was kind enough to offer his tuition center as a conducive place for me to study. It really helped me. With my constant hard work and his guidance, I was able to improve from E8 to B3 for English O levels.

My mentor is extremely patient. For example, there were several occasions where I was unable to comprehend even the simplest concepts, he would then take some time to explain in detail to ensure that all students were able to catch up with the lessons.

Even though he is busy with his personal life, especially since he has a young son to take care of, he would still not mind us asking him questions through Whatsapp where he will respond as soon as he could. His dedication towards teaching is largely apparent and greatly appreciated by students as well.

During lessons, he also does his best to ensure that there are no dull moments. For example, after completing a series of tough questions, he will take a short break and share past experiences and other personal stories. He also takes the effort to find out more about his students and their interests.

Despite joining the class merely 3 months before O levels, my tutor's patience and in-depth knowledge about the subjects he teaches allowed me to pull up my Amath grade from F9 to A2.

It was a fun and enriching learning under My tutor. Aside from being a really experienced math teacher, he is also really passionate and genuine towards his students. To make lessons more fun, he would often crack some lame jokes. He would also share with us the common mistakes and misunderstandings students make for certain questions which helps us a lot. For math, I usually felt that the pace in school was a little too fast for me and I never really had time to clarify my doubts with my teacher, so my mentor had actually made learning maths much more easier and clearer for me, because he would go really in-depth in explanations. Also, I really liked his style of teaching because it really just focuses on the topics and question types that I have doubts in. In the span of just 1 month learning under my tu, my grade in math has improved by 2 grades. (C5 to B3)

Good School methods of teaching is much more understandable and interesting and made me catch up with the topics instantly. I've always failed my A maths constantly before i joined Good School. I felt that I don't have the ability to do well in A Math as our school provided very little time to understand the different topics. I scored and E8 for my recent SA1. In school, teachers have lesser time to concentrate on different individuals and hence is unable to cater specifically to our level of understanding unlike lessons here where we are helped individually as the classes are small. The tutor's lessons are engaging and are helpful as we can clarify our doubts on the spot. The small class size is one of the things i like about here. I am constantly supported by my tutor even on Whatsapp. After attending this tuition, i obtained an A1 for A Maths. I was able to understand the topics more clearly with the help of my tutor. I would recommend to my juniors as the environment here is good and conducive.
